  • Biosecurity Awareness Guide - This was produced with the participation of the Animal Health Institute, the Center of Veterinary Medicine/Food and Drug Administration and the National Renderers Association. AFIA expresses gratitude to these organizations for serving on its biosecurity task force and contributing to the development of this important document.   • BSE Compliance Guide - This was produced in 1997 to provide guidelines for feed manufacturers in order to comply with FDA ruling on prohibiting mammalian protein in ruminant feed.

 

  • DDGS Testing Methods - This document was prepared in conjunction with the Renewable Fuels Association, the National Corn Growers Association and AFIA in Feb. 2007.

 

 

  • Bar Code Standards- The AFIA Information Technology Committee in cooperation with industry partners AgGateway and GS1 US have updated the Bar Code Guidelines. These guidelines were originally developed in the mid-1990s with the Animal Health Institute.
