Brochures Available About Safe Feed/Safe Food Certification Program

Attractive brochures that provide an overview of the Safe Feed/Safe Food Certification Program and urge participation are available from AFIA at this time. The brochures were produced this summer, so they reflect the latest information available about the program.

The brochure is targeted to managers and employees of facilities that have not yet begun the process of becoming certified, but other audiences would also benefit from the material.

An expression of support of the program by Dr. Stephen Sundloff, former director of the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine, is included in the brochure, as well as supportive comments by Henry Turlington of North American Nutrition Companies and Dan Haney of Alltech.

The tri-fold brochure prominently features the program logo, the program slogan—“Our Responsibility, Our Promise,” and the AFIA logo. The brochure also addresses frequently asked questions about the program.

AFIA will provide on request and free of charge a total of 50 copies of the brochure to the headquarters office of each SF/SF-certified facility. Additional bundles of 50 brochures each are available for $18, and bundles of 100 brochures are available for $32 apiece.
