The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point is currently fully booked on the night of Tuesday, November 5. We understand this may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize.

The EMC 2024 will be hosted at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. This modern waterfront resort boasts sparkling lagoons, a lazy river adventure, waterslides, and an adults-only pool. In addition to the pools, the resort has a private beach (check with conceierge upon arrival for details on hours) - accessible by the resort's boat service, the Stillwater Spa, lawngames, and firepits. 

The AFIA is pleased to offer registrants a limited number of hotel rooms at a preferred rate of $279 per night (plus tax) + a discounted resort fee of $20 per night. Please contact the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point directly using this link or call (239) 444-1234 to reserve under the group name "AFIA 2024 Equipment Manufacturers Conference".  The block is available through Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, or until it fills up.  We encourage you to reserve early. 

Please be aware that fraudulent companies have been emailing and calling attendees claiming to represent AFIA and the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. AFIA does not work with a housing bureau for this event and we do not endorse any of these companies. Reservations should only be made directly with the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point.

Transportation

 

The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point is approximately 25 minutes and a 16-mile drive from Southwest Florida International Airport (airport code: RSW). The airport hosts all major domestic airlines including Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit and United. 

Ground transportation options from RSW to the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point include:  rental cars, ride share, and taxis. A ride to the hotel via taxi will cost approximately $47 one-way. More information about on demand taxi service is available via this link

Uber/Lyft are available at an estimated cost of $40-$60 one-way.

Additionally, all major rental car companies are located at Florida International Airport. 

Restaurants

The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point offers several restaurant options on site. Start your day with a Starbucks coffee at Cool Beans, and end it with a spectacular seafood dinner while watching the sunset from the screened porch of Tarpon Bay. Enjoy artisan cocktails and live music at the bar on weekends. Relish coastal comfort food with an international flair in the serene setting of Tanglewood - A Southern Kitchen. Local Activities

 

The Hyatt Regency boasts the largest resort poolscape in Southwest Florida, enjoy three acres water attractions including a meandering Lazy River, five waterslides including a pair of dueling speed waterslides an inner tube waterslide (48” height requirements). Guests can also lounge poolside near the Waterfall Pool deck, enjoy the Adventure pool featuring the Ciquala waterslide for little ones. You can also enjoy our scenic lap pool and hot tub. 

Take an educational walk through the mangrove forest on the nature boardwalk trail, which ends at the marina. Education signs all along the path share interesting facts about the birds, fish and creatures you may see, as well as the environment.

Walk the nature trail to the resort’s ferry for a 15-minute crossing of Estero Bay. Along the way, spot wild dolphins and more. Spend the day shelling, enjoy beach chairs & umbrellas and more. Book passage in advance with the concierge.

The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point also offers free shuttle service to the Coconut Point Mall. Please arrange this with the concierge.
